Overview

MagnetOsc Turbo is an advanced oscillator designed to overcome the limitations of the traditional overbought/oversold concept..

Instead of treating these zones as simple reversal signals, the indicator models 2 opposing but common market scenarios:

1. Reversal or pullback when momentum is exhausted.
2. Stronger continuation when price is “stretched” by extreme buying or selling pressure.

What makes MagnetOsc Turbo different is its ability to evaluate momentum consensus or divergence across multiple timeframes, filtering out noise and highlighting signals with greater reliability.

Signal mechanism of MagnetOsc Turbo

MagnetOsc Turbo functions as a dual-timeframe momentum filter. It evaluates 2 timeframes simultaneously (a lower and a higher) and applies a “magnet” model to define 2 primary signal types:

1. Push (Reversal signal)
   • Condition: Both timeframes reach extreme levels (both overbought or both oversold).
   • Mechanism:
   - When extremes align, momentum shows exhaustion.
   - Similar to like poles of a magnet → repulsion → price tends to reverse.
   - MagnetOsc Turbo goes beyond standard oscillator logic by requiring price action confirmation through strong momentum candles.
   
   
2. Pull (Pullback signal)
   • Condition: Timeframes show opposite extremes (one overbought, the other oversold).
   • Mechanism:
   - Momentum conflict between the lower and higher timeframe often resolves in favor of the stronger higher-timeframe trend.
   - Similar to opposite poles of a magnet → attraction → price is pulled back toward the dominant direction.
   • Example:
   - Higher timeframe shows overbought → strong ongoing uptrend.
   - Lower timeframe drops into oversold → price likely snaps upward to realign with the dominant momentum → Pull signal.
   

Flexible timeframe selection

MagnetOsc Turbo gives you full flexibility to choose and combine 2 timeframes – a smaller one as the primary chart and a larger one for momentum comparison.

• Primary timeframe (smaller):  e.g., 100-tick chart, 1-minute chart, or 5-range chart.
• Secondary timeframe (larger): e.g., 500-tick chart, 10-minute chart, 30-range chart.

It isn’t locked to a single BarType. You can use minutes, hours, days, ticks, ranges, Renko, or any mix, and the oscillator will still reflect the timeframe proportions you want to track.

Intuitive interface

Both timeframes display momentum signals on the same sub-panel, making interactions easy to read (same polarity → Push, opposite polarity → Pull). 

MagnetOsc Turbo is a “smart” oscillator built on a magnetic mechanism, combining multi-timeframe momentum analysis with price action. It helps you distinguish between a true market reversal and a simple pullback for continuation – all presented visually on the chart.
